GRAMMAR: There is / There are  (Recuerdo que esto ya se vió al principio en clase y está explicado en otras entradas del blog)

+ There is (hay para singular): "there is a lake in my town"
+ There are (hay para plural): "there are 5 hotels in my town"

- There isn't (para expresar que no hay para singular): "there isn't a station in my town"
- There aren't (para expresar que no hay para plural): "there aren't any five-star hotels in my town"

? Is there (para preguntar si hay en singular): "is there a park in your town?"
? Are there (para preguntar si hay en plural): "are there any nice cafés in your street?"

GRAMMAR: How much / How many...?

"How much...?" y "How many...? Sirven para preguntar ¿cuánto?

La diferencia está en que "how much" se utiliza para preguntar "cuánto" con sustantivos incontables: "How much time do you spend on the phone every day?"

Mientras que "how many" se utiliza para preguntar "cuánto" con sustantivos contables:

"How many rooms are there in your house?"
